Hello team,

 

Need assistance on HP printer driver issue.

 

We just bought a brand new HP PageWide Pro 577 MFP and put it in VLAN 1 and assigned an IP 10.10.10.213.

All the users are located in different VLAN/Subnets.

 

By downloading the drivers from HP official website, the driver installation worked fine on all Windows 7 PC.

However, on Windows 10 PC, the driver installation failed, it can't find the printer.  Then  I manually added this printer from control panel, it worked,  the drivers can be installed, but the scanning sometimes just don't work and reported device is busy.

 

Today, we changed the printer IP to 10.10.10.218, afther that, all the windows 7 PC can't find this printer anymore. I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, rebooted both printer and PC, try to added from windows control panel, can't make it working, while windows 10 still can find and add the printer through windows control panel(but can't be installed via the software downloaded from HP).

 

There is no connectivity issues, ping from users to printer is working fine.

Appreciate if you can assist.
