HP Color Laserjet Pro MFP M477fnw
Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I have a Mac Pro running OSX 10.11.6.  Recently, the Color Laserjet Pro MFP M477fnw started to not print intermittently, and then progressed to never printing.  When I try to print a document and then click on the printer, I see  a variety of error messages:

"Connected to printer", but not doing anything

"Unable to get printer status"

"Print job was not accepted"

I have tried deleting the printer and reinstalling it, resetting the printing system, turning off IPv6, and setting the IPv4 connection method to manual (all things that I found while searching for an answer to my problem), all to no avail.

I AM able to print to the printer from a Macbook Pro running 10.10.5.  And, in fact, sometimes after printing from the Macbook, the Laserjet will sometimes print a job from the Mac Pro.

I would appreciate any help anyone can give.
