Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have an HP Envy 5012 and Windows 10 PC.  Recently I got a new router (Netgear Nighthawk).  When I tried to reconnect my PC and printer, they won't talk to each other.  Well, my printer is visible on my PC, it's connected, and software is up to date.  However, I cannot print from my PC.  Nothing.  I just get a generic error message.  I've tried connecting my PC (which is hardwired, not on WiFi) to WiFi, thinking that might be the problem.  But no.  I CAN , however, print from other devices.  I tried from my phone and it worked fine.  When I try to print from a webpage or email, it loads the preview pane, then freezes on loading preview.  I have to close my web browser.
