HP ProDesk 400 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We have purchased 20 of these desktops and they come with a bit of software called HP Audio Controls which I would like to remove.

It opens up on the screen about 30-60 seconds after logging in to Windows, every time you log in.  It appears over the top of what you are working on and must be closed in order to continue.  It sometimes appears again later on at random.

This is extremely annoying for my users.  I can't find it in startup programs and I can't find a related service to disable.  I have tried uninstalling it from "Add or remove programs" but it just gets stuck at 100% then eventually just gives up and the window appears again as if to mock me!  Terminating the app from here also causes the window to pop up again.

I've never known a piece of software be so stubborn to disable or get rid of!  I really don't want to have to wipe all these PCs and install a fresh copy of Windows 10 just to get rid of this.  Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
