HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

We have a couple of HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw printers in our office, I have already changed the name of each printer under Networking > Network Identification for Host Name and for Bonjour service name, Bonjour Domain Name.

On our Macs I am able to easily identify the printers since the OS uses the Bonjour Name.

However in our Windows 10 machines with the auto add feature using WSD this is what I get

printer1: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw

printer2: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw (Copy1)

printer3: HP LaserJet Pro MFP M127fw (Copy2)

and then I have to manually rename each printer after I figure out which printer is which using ther serial number.

I don't know why windows 10 is still using the default identificaiton names. Is there a setting in the printers that I have missed to rename?

If so, kindly guide me which setting I need to change.
