HP Chromebook 14a-nd0020ca
Chrome OS

Hi. I have a new HP Chromebook 14a-nd0020ca and want to use it to print on my Brother HL-2030 Laser Printer using USB cable (the printer doesn't have network or wifi capabilities). My Chromebook recognizes the printer, and allows me to choose it as the destination printer when I send something to print. The printer makes a noise, takes in the paper and comes out...blank! It seems to know there's a print job and where to send the print job but it won't print. The printer DOES have ink in it and I can print on it no problems with an older Windows laptop and a Macbook, both laptops can print a Word doc, a Google Docs doc and a PDF. So the printer works, it's just not working with my new Chromebook. Perhaps it's compatibility? The printer SEEMS to know it's connected to a laptop and vice versa. Thanks!
