HP Color LaserJet CP5225
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We've been using our HP Color LaserJet CP5225 for a few years now, and we've always had problems with it but it has gotten ridiculous.

Currently, I am trying to print a total of 110 catalogs, each are 5 pages front and back long.

There are multiple problems:

- I can only print one catalog at a time. If I chose to print more, it only prints blank pages

- After every 2 pages, it goes into cool down mode despite the fact that the current temp of the room it is in is 68F and it is well ventilated

- I can only print 2-3 catalogs and then I have to shut the printer AND the program (Microsoft Publisher) down and restart it all

- Sometimes, the printer wont even connect with the computer at which time I have to unplug the printer, shut down the computer, uninstall and reinstall the printer and reboot again to get it to work.

I have tried updating the printer drive, uninstalling and reinstalling the printer, putting fans on the printer, used a new USB cord....nothing seems to fix it. Any suggestions?? Anyone having similar problems?

This was a very expensive printer and considering we've had similar issues albeit less frequent issues since shortly after we purchased the thing we are hesitant to buy a new printer for fear of having the same problems.
