Hi

I'm trying unsuccessfully to print files that are NOT color managed by either software or the printer.  From what I read on the internet, I suspect I may need to delete my driver and go back to an earlier one circa 2011 or so.  Is this right?

As background, I have been trying to print files that are either wholly not color managed or have an embedded  gamut.  I am trying to do this to (1) send a color patch target to an independent lab to try to verify my own Z3200 spectrocolorimeter readings and possibly improve upon them, and (2) to print files with an embedded colorspace that is tailor made to the z3200 printer's capabilities but is different from the standard few ICC profiles in the printer utility or third party software options (something other than sRGB, appleRGB. colorsyncRGB or adobeRGB, or "native").

I have tried printing the second type of file during the last 3 days through HP's printer utility, Adobe's  Color Printing Utility, the ColorSync Utility, Preview.  All those print incorrectly (near solid black) and basically don't recognize the file or show it onscreen (near solid white).  I've been over my system many times.  I know my problem isn't in the configuration of those programs which do work on other printers.  I suspect the problem is in the firmware, driver or printer utility.

Any ideas?

Thanks
