Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I manage approximately 15-20 M426fdw printers which we bought to replace the previous M425dn model.

There is a recurring problem with all the printers which is that if the printer runs out of paper and then we reload it with paper, the computer still shows that the printer is out of paper and refuses to print anything.

This must be a driver error because the printer itself does not show any error message. I can do copies without any problem (which proves that the printer sees the paper). It's really only the printer queue dialog window that shows the error message, nothing else.

If we remove power from the printer and turn it back on (or restart the computer), sometimes the error message goes away, but that is not a reliable solution.

On a side note, the few Windows 7 computers that we have left do not encounter this problem. Only Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 computers experience this issue.
