HP Recommended
HP Officejet pro X576dw
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I have been troubleshooting this problem for two days. Printer firmware and computer OS are up to date.

When I try to add the printer on my mac (OS 10.15.7] it says  'Unable to connect to  HP Officejet pro X576dw [HP34C681].ipps._tcp.local, due to an error. The printer had been working fine for years until just recently. I also tried ethernet-connection to my router but get a similar unable to connect error.

I have uninstalled all printers

I pinged the IP using the Network Utility with 100% packet loss sending 10 packets.

Using the Network Utility Lookup, the IP returns the printer name 192.168.X.XX -> hp34c681-4.lan

Using the Network Utility Traceroute the predominant returns are "No route to host" and "Host is down".

I can still print using the HP ePrint email function.

Please help!
