Hi. I have an old HP PSC 2410 that I've had to bring out of the cellar as I've just destroyed (literally) it's replacement Epson WF 2650 - never, ever, ever, ever buy an Epson printer. Machines of the devil.
My trusty old HP worked straight from plug in despite having been stored for 3 years. I've just refilled the cartridges - 200ml of black ink and a syringe £10 - and although it continues to print well it started with the dreaded Press OK to print align page every time I switched it on. 2 days of google and trying everything suggested -won't go through them. If you're reading this you'll know what they are - and no joy. Woke up this morning and remembered seeing a factory reset option in the settings. Guess what? It worked and no more print align messages. Well....it's worked for 24 hours and maybe 6 on/off switches.
Hope this helps.
