Product: DesignJet T520
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

We just bought a new DesignJet T520 and have been using it for a week without any issues.  I'm now wanting to install the HP DesignJet Utility app but for some reasons, it's unable to find my printer.  It says the printer is either offline or unavailable.

 

I have no problem connecting to the printer using a web browser and entering the IP directly into the address bar.  I get the HP interface and can see all the settings.  I tried connecting the printer using an ethernet cable to the router and as a wireless device but the app still can't find the printer but the browser always finds it.

 

I need this app to work so I can do a firmware update if need be.
