Designjet 130
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was gifted a 10-year-old Designjet 130 printer that had never been used or set up. It had the original unopened ink cartridges and print heads. I set it up (USB connection) and it worked perfectly. I am an infrequent user so I am afraid I let it sit without use for way too long (my bad). I would not be surprised if carts or heads had issues, although they display properly on the LCD panel. However, after updating to the newest Windows 10 compatible driver (8.10), I am experiencing an issue upon turning the printer on. It goes through a startup initialization and prints out a test print (which confirms my suspicion that either ink cart(s) or print head(s) have some issues). But after it spits out the less than optimal test print it begins the whole process over again, spitting out test prints and starting the whole process over and over again until I shut it down. Sometimes it doesn't respond to the on/off switch and I unplug the power cord to shut down. I have left the cord unplugged for more than 30 seconds and then plugged it in again. Same issues appear upon trying to start it again. Any suggestions?
