Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur
After upgrading to Big Sur, my printer will no longer connect via USB. I connect with an extension to Micro USB.
If I try printing as normal it says "Error while printing"
I tried reinstalling the drivers. The latest driver available on the website is HP Easy Start. Easy Start is able to find the printer without an issue, but it then just redirects me to download HP Smart. HP Smart is NOT able to find the printer, it says it's not connected via USB, when it is.
I've tried
- switching usb ports
- Turning off the printer, waiting 30 seconds and turning back on
- Unplugging the usb cord from the printer and the computer
- Restarting my computer
- Printing via Chrome instead of from pdf
