Product: Deskjet 1000
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I can't find a driver that works for the deskjet 1000 printer on mac catalina  10.15.7. 

Since it's a USB printer, is it possible to print without a driver? or does anyone know if there is a driver built in on macs? 

 

The printer works great and I still have a bunch of ink, so I really don't want to trash it/shell out for a new one.
