Our PC has an Ubuntu LTS Version 20.04 operating system. Our printer is an SCX-4623FW Laser Multifunction Printer. Previously, Ubuntu works well with our printer. Recently though, this message pops up whenever we try to scan anything these days: "Additional software needed". I don't know how to deal with this. I tried downloading the driver with version V1.00.39_01.17 for this specific printer but I was unable to install it. I can't do my schoolwork with this problem, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic around. Can anybody help? I'd highly appreciate it.
