Bios sees both drives, Windows/Linux usually won't see 2nd drive sometimes but when it does I get misc access/write errors if I use an SSD. If I put a regular spinning drive slave no problems.
Is there some missing check box in bios I'm missing or is it just bad programming (BIOS) or maybe a reason maybe the difference between SSD - HDD + NVMe blows the data channel for the hdds?
Just got my laptop back from HP depot specifically sent it in for this issue, they replaced MB and it didn't fix the issue.
