Hello!

We would like to be able to have walk-up users to have the ability to enter email addresses into the address book from the LCD control panel on the front of the device without having to enter a password.  I can't seem to see a setting that would allow this. My options seem to be:

 

1. remove the administrative password from the device (not acceptable)

2. give the administrative password to everyone in the office (Not possible)

 

Is there a way to keep the device secure on the network without inconviencing everyone in the office that would like to scan to email?

 

This request was made earlier for HP LJ M425 and the development team did not fix this issue?
