I have an enterprise MFP, HP LaserJet Enterprise 799 Series - Model M775.

 

The device constantly shows a Front Door Open error even when the door is closed.

It shows it even when the sensor is manually pressed.

 

Through the Administration menu, I went into service mode and did a manual sensor test.

 

I was able to see the test showing every time I activated and deactived switch for the sensor. 

 

I can see that the sensor works but for some reason the door error will not go away.

I performed a partial clean on the device and reinstalled firmware but the issue persisted.

 

Please advise.
