Windows Device Manager
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

"Device is Disabled (Code 22)" is a Windows Device Manager error, it means in device manager, the status of this device is set as disabled. There could be many reasons a device is in "disabled" status, could be as simple as someone disabled the device manually -- in this case, simply right mouse and enable the device; or could be caused by resource contention or mulfunction of the device causes device manager fails to load the driver, means very likely there are underlying problems with the drivers or system problems and no easy fix.

Try these steps:

1.  Enable the device driver, if error still exist:

2. Update the device driver, or

3. Uninstall and reinstall the device driver

4.  If USB connected devices, try move to a different port

5. If multiple USB devices are connected, remove some and see if probelem persists.
