Product: HP LaserJet 2100 Printer series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Every page on the log in the printer status page shows this error 50013.  I took this printer apart because the puckup tray roller was not working (turning) but I could insert a sheet from underneith and it prints fine.  Replaced a tray 2 soliod a while back but found useing better paper fixed the feed problem.  If I give the roller a little push it rotates but not on it's own.  Seems like the gears are out of sync.  Any idea as to what the problem may be.  Is there an alighment mark on the gears somewhere. 105000 pages what a great printer.

 

Anyone have an explaination for the fuser function.  I thought the fuser is just a hot roller that heats the ink on the page to dry it.  Is that true?
