LaserJet M402n
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Multi-page Adobe PDF documents, every other page prints a mess of unrecognizable characters. Troubleshooter says that the only problem is the USB composite device is an older device not supported by USB 3.0.  I don't see how that would affect only PDF documents and nothing else that is printed.  This is a new M402n LaserJet running from Wndows 10.  The drivers and firmware are all updated (UPD PCL 6 driver).  Also tried UPD PS driver and it is not recognized.  I am not on a network.  Took the printer and computer to the store where I bought it, and tried printing a PDF doc from a M402n o siplay at the store.  Worked fine.  Does this mean that the problem must be with my printer?  I want to be sure before returning it for an exchange.
