The krack attack has been known for quite some time but I see no option for patching Samsung ml-2875fw.

It is a wireless client after all, and hence most likely vulnerable. Even if to accept the fact that the attacker could get whatever is printed (or is there a way to encrypt?), there is also the risk that they will get their hands on the PSK (it is stored in the printer, after all). As there seems to be no way to additionally encrypt the communication between the printer & someone configuring it over LAN, it seems like a perfect vector. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

The download center has a fw version conveniently dated nov 2017 but as far as I can tell looking at the notes, it is actually the version from January 17. Is there any chance HP / Samsung will release a patch? The issue is serious enough and the printer is a good one so it deserves some support

And don't tell me to use ethernet as a solution 🙂
