HP OfficeJet Pro 8740
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

To do a factory reset the Support Menu does not exist on HP 8740.

Touch the screen under the question mark (where the back arrow is hidden 4 times.)

Others apparently have the arrow visible.  It is not on my machine.   

Once in the Support Menu, touch it at the top.

It will show the version, click the down arrow to the right until you get the Resets Menu.

Touch ok  Touch down arrows until you get to Semi-full reset and click ok.

Hours to find the Support Menu because there is no visible back arrow outside the window at the left bottom.

Click the invisible area where the back arrow should have been visible.   Works now!!
