HP Recommended
Product: Laserjet p1102w
Operating System: Linux

Downloaded and Intalled hplip-3.19.12.run for LaserJet p1102w on Ubuntu 19.10. Installing plugin fail.

 

I've first uninstalled the default hplip package with remove before installing the newest version.

 

Error log says:

error: Python gobject/dbus may be not installed

 

gzip: stdout: Broken pipe
error: Plug-in install failed.

 

hp-setup[4851]: debug: Unable to open file /var/lib/hp/hplip.state for reading.

 

What could be wrong?
