Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

Please can anyone offer help with the following problem?

I recently tried to print a Word document using the HP DeskJet 3630 series wireless printer ( which has worked correctly for just over a year until quite recently ) and the following message appeared:

splwow.64 exe - Ordinal Not Found

The original could not be located in the dynamic link library

C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\DRIVERS\X64\3\mxdwdrv.dll.

When I try to print a Word document I get a Microsoft Word message :

We couldn't print because there doesn't seem to be a printer installed 😞

I ran the HP Print and Scan doctor (5.0) but the problem still exists.

I am able to print from the above printer if I use the HP PavilionX2 Detachable Notebook I am left wondering why the HP Pavillion 15-ab254sa detects that the printer is not installed!!

What does splwow.64exe - Ordinal Not Found mean and how can it be found?

What is the dynamic link library?

How can I ensure that the missing ordinal is re-located in the dynamic link library?

All help would be very much appreciated,

Oaklands364.
