Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8710
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Last time I needed to fax something (more than 1 year ago) everything was fine, but now the software does not react when I click on "send a Fax".  I can print, I can scan, all good. but I can only fax directly from the printer.  All PC's in the house (HP AIO 3420, HP laptops, etc) used to wotk fine. so somehow, I suspect Microscrap to have caused a bug during a Windows update and sabotage my HP printer drivers/software. 

 

So what is the best route / troubleshooting to resume ability to fax from the PC using the HP software?
