HP Recommended
Product: HP 8600 Plus
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

My printer (HP 8600 Plus)  is currently running this firmware:

  • CKP1CN1516AR

I wanted to update to this one:

  • CLP1CN2011AR

Because I can't login to the web services (ePrint) and I think it's because the old firmware is trying to connect to old server.

Anyway, I tried to update the firmware with the following tool:

  • OJP8600_N911g-n_2011A.dmg

But it fails both via WLAN and USB.

It shows:

  • This firmware updater does not contain any upgrades for your device.

Hope someone can help?
