HP Recommended
Product: HP Color Laserjet 3600
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

My HP 3600 with many miles on it had been running fine until I put in some new 2rd party cartridges. Then it started making blotchy light prints. After many experiments it seems I can take the fuser out and put it back in and it cures the problem.

Should I replace the fuser? Or might there be a sensor somewhere that controls the fuser temp or something similar.
Thanks for any opinions.
