HI,

my printer does not print red anymore.

I cleaned the printer head several times using the software tools, I checked all settings, installed the drivers again, clean the head with alcohol, I just got cyan and yellow.
I read tons of hints in your support forms, what to do if single colors are missing, nothing helped.

I inserted a new HP304 cartridge (all genuine HP), with the same result.
I blamed the head contacts and clean them too - both sides: wire and cartridge... no result.

As I'm loving this printer, I tried to get a new one (now available) and used ones and came around used ones, claiming the printer is almost OK but refusing to print red.

I looked around certain forums and even this forum here and figured, that this is a major problem with this device... no errors or problems but red!

Please advise what to do, as I'm sure this must be a well-known problem in your repair shops.
Thanks.

Stefan
