Product: HP Color LaserJet 4700n, model J7949E
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra
Hi folks,
So I have a 4700n that I can’t get to work.
The wireless connection doesn’t work at all. A wired connection does recognize and connect the printer temporally. Through HP Utility I can see the supply amounts etc. But it still won’t print. And after a short time it loses the connection again.
I’ve tried to update the firmware as it might be quite old – both the printer driver (RFU) and the jetDirect (dld) – but I can’t seem to do that as well, neither through network or USB.
The printer doesn’t show any errors and it prints the configurations page just fine.
Any suggestions on what to do?
Thanks!
