M477fdn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hello.

So i have been trying for quite some time to install MFP M477fdn with the full solution setup on windows 10 x64 with latest updates installed.

I have it the printer running in my network with a static ip address, i can see the printer through http://ip/ and if i try to install it via devices and printers in windows I choose tcp/ip and put the ip and it works.

The problem is running the latest full solution setup downloaded from hp (i've tried older versions also), when choosing network connection i choose tcp/ip and type the ip or choose search for printers, and the printer isn't found. I've disabled antivirus, firewall, everything.. as i said before i've been trying to install it for quite some time.

Other windows 10 x64 pcs from my network have the printer installed so it's not a conectivy issue. I've seen this behavoir to other printers like m426 m425, and it's not my pc's fault because i just installed a m426 without any issues in setup choosing search for printer or seting ip manually discovers the printer. I've seen other posts in forum with similar issue, what can i do?

waiting for a fix, thanks 🙂
