Product: MFP M477fnw

My boss purchased this used, so I have no history for it. We installed brand new ink cartridges. The LCD panel works fine, but when you try to print a self-test or copy something off the glass all that comes out is a blank sheet with what looks like a streak of black. (see attached file)

 

Before we spend a lot of money to try and get it fixed, has anyone had a problem like this before? Any ideas what could be causing this?test_001.jpg
