Product: HP Deskjet 2633

I have had this printer for just over a year and it has been a nightmare. It works most of the time when printing from iPad and iPhone but from my pc it is very hit and miss.  When I bought it I was going to use it with a cable to the pc but wouldn’t work and I was told to use it wirelessly but it is not reliable enough. I can send something to print and it will print hours later. I get constant error messages. It is driving me mad.  Can anyone advise? PC is windows 10 but don’t know if it is 32 or 64 bit
