Apple Macbook Air 2020
macOS 10.15 Catalina

Printer: Deskjet 3050A J611 All-in-One Printer

Computer: 1) Macbook Air 2020 (running on macOS Big Sur 11.0.1)

                     2) Macbook Air 2014 (running on macOS Catalina 10.15.7)

Router: Google Nest

I love this printer! I have owned this one for 7 years (yes it's an old one) but it always worked like a charm until the recent two weeks. I made no change to my home WI-Fi setting but the printer all of sudden dropped the wireless connection.

The problem for me to get the printer reconnect my internet router is I'm currently using a Google Nest Router, which doesn't have a WPS button not anywhere I could enter the "PIN" as a traditional router has.

I previously set up the printer and had it connected to WIFI by using  the "HP Smart" App (via USB) I installed on my Mac 2020 and this was done not too long ago (around July 2020).

However, when I tried to reconnect the printer by the HP Smart App, I kept getting a "Malware" message from Mac, such as: HPDP.framework will damage your computer".  I found this post recently published by HP https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06960563 on downloading an HP uninstaller. on Mac. The program ran successfully, and I even deleted all of my previous printer info and reset everything, I am still hitting the same Malware message when trying to connect my printer to my laptop and Wi-Fi network. Through connecting the printer using USB on HP Smart, I found the printer is not even able to be found now. I also tried to download "HP Easy Admin" and "HP ePrinter" programs on two Macbooks I have, but I couldn't find a suitable/compatible program for anyone.

My question: how can I have my printer connect to WI-FI using the Google Nest Router, facing the issues running on a new macOS operational system?

Appreciate your help!
