Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6970
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a brand new HP Elitebook x360 1030 G2 and for some reason when I attached the printer to the docking station and do a restart of the laptop It gets past our encryption login then at the windows logo page it just hangs up.  I can do a shutdown and power on and it comes up with no problems.  the only other items that are in the docking station are a keyboard, mouse and HP V224h monitor.  I have updated the firmware and display link for docking station, I checked the BIOS to make sure I haven't missed anything.  Is there a setting on the printer that needs to be changed?? Could it be a BIOS setting?
