HP Envy Photo 7830
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I am in the process of purchasing a new inkjet printer and have been impressed by the specification of the HP Envy Photo 7830. However, I am unclear of the paper sizes that can be accommodated in the paper trays.

The instructions indicates that the main paper tray accommodates plain U.S. letter, A4, or legal paper. They also indicate that  "smaller photo paper and card sizes" should be loaded in the photo paper tray and that this tray accommodates "10 cm x 15 cm (4 in x 6 in), 13 cm x 18 cm (5 in x 7 in) photo paper or cards" - all of these sizes are smaller than A4, the paper size that I am probable only going to use.

What might seem a daft question, but is critical to me and my use of the printer is: is this printer not capable of printing A4 sized photo paper and/or card from the main tray? Can I assume that A4 photo paper or card (up to 300gsm) can be printed by the printer, from any tray?

Many thanks.
