Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

I bought HP Laser Jet 3055 fax Scanner coper fax 10 years ago (June 2007) at home, it has been working very good when I connect a old Macbook Pro computer operation system 10.4.  However this old Mac computer doesnot work well now,  I bought two new Macbook Pro (1) Operation systerm 10.6.8, (2). Macbook Pro operation system 10.13.3 or 10.13.4. I still have this printer CD and try to make connection between this HP Laser Jet 3055 and my Mac computer either operation system 10.6.8 or 10.13.3 or 10.13.4, however it does not work and cannot make the connection, cannot find the printer. Can you please advise how to make this connection? If this printer still can connect with the new Mac system?? Thanks!
