Product: HP LaserJet CP4025
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi
I can't print images on my printer. I have googled, looked in the HP support forums but so far no luck.
- Using HP LaserJet CP4025
- Using USB (tried several different cables).
- Using Windows 10 64-bit with all latest Windows Updates.
- Using latest printer firmware (Driver - HP Color LaserJet Enterprise CP4025 Printer series | HP® Customer Support)
- Have tried with latest PCL6 and PS drivers (from here: Driver - HP Color LaserJet Enterprise CP4025 Printer series | HP® Customer Support)
- Have tried Universal Printer Driver as well. (It is confusing as h*ll - don't really know which printer driver to choose when there are so many).
- After I print image from Windows 10, Windows says 'print job failed blah blah' and the printer will write Error 49.FF03 in the display and the print job will fail.
- After failed print job, I have to restart the printer (turn it off) and wait for it become 'Ready' again (running through steps 1 to 6).
- It happens for jpeg, png and other types. Also if the image is converted to PDF, same problem happens
- I managed to print two jpg images of 2577x 2883 and 720 x 890. However, an image with 3488 x 4640 did not go through. I, however, resized the image that did not work (i.e. 3488x4640) to 25 % of its original = 872 x 1160 and that printed without problems. Could it be a RAM/memory/buffer overflow problem?
- Printing this PDF only prints first page:
- EDIT: I realize somebody has taken out the RAM from the printer. I was wondering if this could be the problem? (I don't have any spare RAM of that type (DDR2 PC2-4200 533MHz SODIMM) at the moment)
Printing text (black or colored) from Word works.
Hoping for some troubleshooting to help solve the problem.
