LaserJet M1522nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently switched (finally) from Windows 2000 XP to Windows 10. My laserjet M1522nf has worked flawlessly for years but since changing to this new operating system the scanner will not work.  It will print fine but not scan. When I try to start a scan from Windows I get an error message. (An error occured, if another device is scanning please wait for it to finish and try again) 

I installed Scan Doctor 5.1 to try to fix the problem. When I run "find & fix scanning problems" I get:  Windows (WIA) scan error. 

I've tried shutting down and restarting the printer and laptop and then running Print and Scan Doctor 5.1 again but haven't  fixed the  problem.
