Hey Guys,

I currently have an issue when printing from this one Virtual Machine. I have the printer locally connected to the host PC (the problem VM is on), then the printer has  been shared from the PC to  the network. The printer does connect on the Remote Desktop session, but as soon as you attempt to print an error message is generated in the print queue.

(I currently have the printer installed on 3 other PCs and 2 other VMs using the printer share and they all seem to be able to print just fine and don't encounter any issues.)

The error message that gets thrown up in Event Monitor when trying to print from the VM is;

Faulting application name: printfilterpipelinesvc.exe, version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bcef9
Faulting module name: printfilterpipelinesvc.exe, version: 6.1.7600.16385, time stamp: 0x4a5bcef9
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x00014c4a
Faulting process id: 0x1cb8
Faulting application start time: 0x01d2c640b178497b
Faulting application path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\printfilterpipelinesvc.exe
Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\printfilterpipelinesvc.exe
Report Id: eff193c8-3233-11e7-ae72-000c29bed8e5

I have managed to get it to print on the troublesome VM by adding said aforementioned printer as a local machine and setting the printer port to the name of the host PC. This fix only lasts up until the computer is turned off.

I have tried numerious windows updates, uninstalling and reinstalling the printer, uninstalling and reinstalling the print driver and I have also tried sharing the printer from another computer to see if that would work. So far I haven't had any luck and seem to be out of ideas.

If anyone could offer up any help that would be greatly appricated.
