Product: HP OfficeJet 5255 Wireless All-in-One Printer,

Yes, another printer question!  The 5255 appears to use two ink cartridges. If the color cartridge is empty, can I still do black & white printing?  It claims that you plug it in and it connects to WiFi automatically. No programming or touchscreen configuration needed?  Is this an ink eater like the 5440 was?
