Hi,
I have some serious feeder scanning and photocopying problems with my HP Officejet Pro 7740. I bought the first one in Dec 2017. With this first one, the scan quality was okay, but the feeder developed feeder jamming problems. I bought the second one in Jan 2020, but the scan quality was just atrocious, with the text being ‘smudged’ and the scanned document (PDF) ‘dirty’ with a ‘dark tint’ all over the page (see images attached). The feeder kept jamming (see video attached). The dealer was then kind enough to replace it for me on the 30th Oct 2020, but I am afraid I have the same problems. Photocopied documents come out with distorted text but 'clean'.
I was at the dealers again on the 20th Nov 2020. Whilst at the shop we tried their printer on the shop floor, and lo and behold, the scan quality was as ‘dirty’ as what I am getting.
Can someone please help, especially HP?
