HP Recommended
Product: HP Officejet Pro 6978
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Officejet control panel is on all the time.  Also, if I try to turn off the printer, it continues to cycle and will not shut down.

 

I know the obvious answer is to pull the plug -- and that works -- but it is annoying to see the error msg on the screen telling me the printer was not shut down properly!

 

This is a continuing problem and I really would like to resolve it.
