HP PageWide Pro 477dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am having an issue where the 477dw will print the first job but wont release it and all the other jobs freeze in the queue.

The printer is installed with the latest 38.7.1936 Full Software solution following the steps to plug in the printer at the correct moment. The firmaware the printer came with is the latest 1921E.

The printer is connected via usb cable, printing through wifi causes the same issue.

Currently I am printing one job, stopping the print spool, navigating to the ..spool/PRINTERS folder, deleting the contents, but the current file is still being helpd by printfilterpipelinesvc, so I have to go to task manager and end the task then finally delete the file. Then i restart the print spool and I can print again. I have to do that for every job and it is getting very annoying.

I have tried the PCL6 and PostScript drivers available on the hp website.

Running the printer doctor does not fix the issue.

Any help would be much appreciated,

Owen
