LaserJet Enterprise MFP M527
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the HP LaserJet MFP M527 Full Solution software from here.  I have installed the HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M527dn/M527f/M527dnm USB Twain Scan Package, but when I try to open it, I just get the message in the post title, "The HP LaserJet MFP M527 was not found."

I found several similar posts with the suggested solution of uninstalling the printer and drivers thoroughly and re-downloading and installing them, but that does not seem to solve the issue for me.

I have updated the firmware to the 4.10 version, but I cannot tell if there is some other configuration that needs to be done before the Twain style software from HP will "see" the printer in order to initiate a remote scan request.

I also tried running the HP Print and Scan Doctor, and it always seems to find a "port match issue" that it indicates it "fixed," but that also doesn't seem to work or do anything really.

What else should I try?
