HP Recommended
Product: HP ScanJet Pro 3500 f1
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks

- Easy Start recognizes SJP 3500 and downloads drivers
- At next step, EasyStart cant find the scanner to do a test scan
-  Also cant add the scanner in printer/scanners in System profile

- Machine hardwardeprofile shows the scanner attached to a USB interface

I spent 1-2 hours with HP Support on this. They suggested getting a different ScanJet 3500. Did that and same problem.

I would be very grateful for any ideas on how to solve this problem.
