HP Scanjet 8270
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Started with a clean image.

Installed software from HP web site.

Trying to scan. 

App is crashing and this is in event viewer

Initially thought based on 0xc0000005 that DEP was issue so shut off DEP completely but no joy.  This exact same scanner with the exact same software is working on an HP laptop.  Can't help but wonder if there is some issue with Lenovo/HP hardware working together.
