HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow 7000 s3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

SDSS 3.8 doesn't recognize my scanner (ScanJet Enterprise Flow s3) for some reason.  It says "A scanner error has occurred.  Be sure the scanner is properly conencted and turned on.  Ex = 220".  If I clink OK to that, then SDSS just shows a red X, as if the scanner is turned off or truley disconnected.

I can go to the "Devices and Printers" part of the control panel and use the "HP ScanJet Flow Enterprise 7000 s3" devices there, and actually i can do a successful scan with windows default scan software, so I know that it is at least working to some extent.

have a spare laptop with also Win10 64bits, I did the full install with this exact ScanJet Enterprise Flow 7000 s3 unit, and all installed and worked properly with SDSS 3.8 on that platform.

I do not get any error messages during the installtion process for SDSS 3.8 (etc.) either, even in the installation process asks me to connect the scanner before proceed and when the process ends says Installation Complete Successful message, so I do not think theres some kind of installation problem.

Tried using HP Doctor software to see if help me somehow to fix, but even there the scanner didn't appear in the list, completely weird.

PS. was working on sunday and for next monday this was happening, as a note too, didn't install any other device or OS update, anything.
