LaserJet M602
iOS 12 - 12.0.1

The Laserjet is in a University setting, connected via Ethernet. The wifi users (on WPA2 Enterprise) can print just fine from laptops. I used to be able to print from the old HP ePrint app from either iOS or Android but that app is discontunued. Now I have to use the HP Smart app and I can't get that app to see the printer (iPhone X using iOS 12.1.2).

The Add Printer step in the HP Smart app requires that you connect to the printer via wifi which the M602 doesn't have. There is a "Connect the Printer using the IP Address" step but when I enter the ip address it times out. "Unable to Connect: The mobile device cannot connect to the printer. Chick the IP address, and then try again."

The printer has firmware 3.9.2 and has HP Web Services enabled and is connected to HP Connected. I have it registered through my account at HP Connected.

Is there any way to connect the app to the printer? The only thing I can do now to print is to send a job to the email address that it created through the HP Connected service.
